SHOAL are going to be exhibiting at the launch of the Science Museums new Antenna Galleries.

The galleries will be showcasing cutting edge technologies and current projects in research and we will be there for the next 3 months

As part of the European Maritime Conference in Gijon this year the robotic fish are going to make there first appearance in the port.

The fish will be swimming in a tank on the harbour for the whole week of the conference for anyone to come and have a look at.

Shoal Project Manager Luke Speller has just been interviewed by Living on Earth in the USA in what is a comprehensive interview about the Shoal Project.

BMT's Luke Speller and University of Essex' Professor Hu have been interviewed at the University of Essex Campus by BBC News and Reuters about the robotic fish and their uses in finding pollution.

Shoal project Manager Luke Speller, Senior Researcher Rory Doyle and Professor Hu have been taking interviews on the Shoal Project for national Radio in the UK. Interviews Include Radio 4, Radio 5 live and Radio 2.

The SHOAL project has officially started. This meeting hosted at BMT in the UK signified the beginning of the SHOAL project. All the consortium members and the Project Officer met to discuss the work ahead and to begin the preparations of the work for the next three years. Major topics discussed were; the requirements, testing plans for the system and the scope of the partners work.
